The city of Thousand Oaks, located midway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean, is the home of the Kendle Los Angeles (KLA) office. Thousand Oaks lies within the Conejo Valley and is nestled against the Santa Monica Mountains, surrounded by more than 14,800 acres of natural publicly owned open space. It is known for the multitude of oak trees scattered throughout the area. Transportation
The US Highway 101, known as the Ventura Freeway, is one of the most well known roads in America and passes right through Thousand Oaks. The KLA office is 45 miles from the Los Angeles International Airport, and 35 miles from the Burbank Airport.

Those in Thousand Oaks enjoy a beautiful landscape and proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Coupled with the Mediterranean climate the community enjoys near perfect weather all year round. Average temperatures range between 65-75 degrees during summer months and 53-69 degrees during winter months; average rainfall is 14.98 inches per year.
Education
There are three nationally recognized public school districts that serve the communities in and around Thousand Oaks. Among public schools, several have been named" distinguished schools" by the state or are winners of the prestigious national "Blue Ribbon" recognition. The area also has many private schools, and several two- or four-year colleges or universities within easy driving distance.
Entertainment
From seashore to mountains, there are plenty of entertainment and recreational opportunities in the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas. The open space in the city of Thousand Oaks contains 75 miles of trails for hiking, biking or just leisurely walking.
It is the home of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza’s Countrywide Performing Arts Centre, the largest performing arts centre between Los Angeles and San Francisco. The Arts Plaza has played host to a range of events, from national touring presentations, Broadway musicals, contemporary entertainers, and symphony concerts.
Fun places like Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, Six Flag Magic Mountain, and the Getty Museum are within about an hour to an hour and a half driving distance
