The City of Rockville is located in west-central Maryland, 12 miles northwest of downtown Washington DC, and 35 miles southwest of Baltimore. Its population of approximately 50,000 makes it the second largest city in Maryland.
The Kendle Rockville office is located on the fifth floor of its office building, across the street from a key office of the US Food and Drug Administration. Climate
Rockville is situated in a temperate region, so its winters are fairly short and mild, though temperatures sometimes descend toward 0°F. Summers can be warm and humid, with temperatures rising at times to the high 90s. Yearly precipitation averages 40” of rain and 22” of snow.
